Internship Opportunity: The French Wine Merchant
Position: Operations Intern (Unpaid)
Duration: July to October (In-Shop and Remote)
Location: Palm Beach, FL and Remote

Internship Overview:
We are delighted to offer a unique internship opportunity for individuals eager to dive into the dynamic world of wine marketing, sales, or operations. As an Intern, you will have the chance to play a key role in developing marketing strategies, overseeing systems and campaigns, building relationships, and actively contributing to the operations of The French Wine Merchant. The Wine Operations Intern, will be more centered on activities related to the management of a small wine shop, business structuring, event organization, and follow-up activities.
Learning Opportunities:
The program cultivates knowledge, skills and abilities through learning and performing operational duties along with supplemental learning activities and job shadowing.
Collaborate directly on campaigns and creative design projects.
Gain hands-on experience in relationship building and collaborate in the creation of feedback and segmentation processes.
Program offers participants work experience in one specific department with cross training in one additional department.
Interns will participate in virtual meetings with company leaders and work on on-site specific projects.
Oversee and optimize operational processes to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow, with a combination of in-shop and remote tasks.
Develop an understanding of the operations and logistics involved in running a premium wine business, with a blend of in-shop and remote exposure.
Focus on Bordeaux and Burgundy wines as part of cross-training, learning the unique characteristics and market demands of these regions.
Maurice Amiel (wine shop owner) will teach, train, and provide insights on Bordeaux and Burgundy wines, and how to effectively market and meet the demands of these specific wine regions.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in college. Candidate(s) should be pursuing a college degree at any level ( Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior or Senior ).Preferably: in Business, Marketing or related fields.
Must be 21+ .
Interested in business or the wine industry.
Love for social-media, marketing and design.
Proactive attitude, detail-oriented, and a solutions-oriented problem solver.
Great communications skills and abilities to collaborate in a team environment.
Experience (Preferred - Not Required):
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles
- Familiarity with social media marketing strategies
- Exposure to advertising and social media management platforms
