Chateau d'Aiguilhe red wine features ripe, sweet dark red fruits, silky textures, and notes of licorice, dark cocoa, black cherries, black cherry liqueur, espresso, chocolate, and blackberry. It pairs well with meats, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, braised and grilled dishes, as well as Asian dishes, rich fish like tuna, mushrooms, and pasta. With dark-berry, sandalwood, light chocolate, sweet fruit, and wet earth notes, it has a medium body, firm tannins, and a pretty finish. The bouquet reveals black cherries, blueberry, sloes, and a light floral hint, matured in 30% new oak.
